Before the wax
To get the best results from your wax, please follow the guidelines below.
Before your waxing appointment, prepare your skin so the procedure goes smoothly and without irritation:
Let your hair grow - Ideally the hair should be the length of a grain of rice for the most comfortable and effective wax experience.
Check for irritations, sun burn and breakouts - Treat any rashes or sunburns before your appointment to avoid tearing skin while being waxed. Look for any cuts or bruises as well: even small shaving cuts can develop irritation when waxed. If you're prone to breaking out in a certain area, avoid getting it waxed. Waxing tends not to be effective on areas affected by hormonal breakouts. Should your sunburn or rash persist, postpone your appointment until your skin has healed.
Exfoliate - Before your appointment, exfoliate in the shower to remove dead skin and lift trapped hair. Exfoliating will reduce the likelihood of ingrown hairs after the appointment. Using a loofah or washcloth, rub in a circular motion around the area you want waxed.
Wear loose fitting clothes to your appointment - Don't wear skinny jeans or tight fabrics. After your skin has been waxed, you'll want soft and comfortable clothing.

During the wax
Relax!
If you have any questions, please ask!
You may feel some discomfort in certain areas – this can depend on the sensitivity of the area, the length of the hair, the level of body fat and your tolerance for pain!
If anything pops up during an intimate wax, don’t worry – these things can happen. Just think of something unsexy and everything will return to normal!
After the wax
To ensure that you get the best results following your wax, please follow the guidelines below.
Some slight soreness, small bumps and redness are perfectly normal, especially if this is your first wax. This should settle within 24-48 hours.
To prevent ingrown hairs: gently exfoliate the skin up to 3 times a week using a body mitt, once any redness any soreness has settled. Moisturise the area every day to help new hairs grow normally.
The first few times you get waxed, you might notice a small amount of regrowth after a week or so. It can take several treatments for your hair to get on a cycle that gives best results. Hair needs to be at least 1/2 cm long to be waxed effectively, so please don't shave, tweeze or use hair removal creams between appointments.
To maintain your smooth appearance, we recommend regular waxing every 4-6 weeks.
